“Batik Tea Series” Set to Launch at Grand Indonesia: A Cultural Celebration in Every Cup

Jakarta, Indonesia — On September 26, 2025, Alun Alun Indonesia at Grand Indonesia will host the official launch of the Batik Tea Series, a curated collection of artisanal teas inspired by Indonesia’s rich cultural heritage. The launch will be part of the event “Heritage in a Cup, Harmony in a Thread,” which celebrates the intersection of flavor, tradition, and textile artistry.

The Batik Tea Series features five distinct blends, each crafted to reflect the essence of a region or royal legacy:

  • Papua Botani Choco: A bold black tea with caramel undertones, blended with nutty cacao beans. High in caffeine, this tea offers a grounding aroma of malt and earth—perfect for any time of day, hot or cold.
  • Yogyakarta Sekar Kedhaton: Named after the royal princess of ancient Java, this luxurious blend of jasmine tea, rose petals, kaffir lime leaves, cardamom, and nutmeg evokes elegance and mystery. Lightly caffeinated and ideal for all-day indulgence.
  • Sumatera Oolong: A smooth, organic oolong tea with emerald hues and floral notes. Its buttery texture and calming properties make it a refined choice for both hot and cold brews.
  • Solo Royal Princess: A heritage blend of green tea and jasmine buds from Central Java’s northern coast. With a copper-red infusion and a smoky-sweet finish, this tea carries the legacy of royal recipes passed down through generations
  • Bali Pandanus: Combining Indonesian green tea with fragrant pandan leaves, this comforting blend offers a soft, savory sweetness reminiscent of traditional Balinese rituals. Low in caffeine and perfect for quiet moments.
  • Pasundan Java Minty: Inspired by the cool highlands of West Java and the Sundanese love for gentle botanicals, this blend of green tea and mint offers a refreshing, herbal escape. With its light aroma and soothing taste, it’s a tribute to nature and culture in harmony.

Each variant is packaged in small-batch tins, with net weights ranging from 20 to 30 grams. The teas are designed to be enjoyed hot, cold, or as a cold brew, making them versatile companions for every mood and moment.

The Batik Tea Series is more than a beverage—it’s a sensory journey through Indonesia’s landscapes, legends, and living traditions. Join us at Grand Indonesia to sip the story.
